Terms and conditions

Welcome to Francis Renovations. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your relationship with Francis Renovations (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and apply to all services provided by the Company. By hiring us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. Scope of Work
  • The Company agrees to provide home renovation services as outlined in the signed contract or project agreement.
  • Any changes to the scope of work must be documented in writing and may result in additional costs or time adjustments.
  1. Estimates and Payments
  • Estimates provided are based on the initial project requirements and are subject to revision if project specifications change.
  • A deposit will be required before work begins as outlined in your construction agreement. The remaining balance will be due as specified in the Agreement.
  • Payments must be made by the due dates outlined in the Agreement. Late payments may incur additional fees.
  • We accept checks and ACH payments.

     3.Permits and Approvals

  • The Company will assist in obtaining necessary permits unless otherwise agreed. Permit fees will be billed to the client.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring compliance with homeowners’ association (HOA) rules, if applicable.
  1. Client Responsibilities
  • The client must provide access to the property during agreed working hours.
  • The client must ensure that the work area is clear of personal belongings and that pets or other obstructions are managed appropriately.
  1. Project Timeline
  • The Company will make every effort to adhere to the project timeline. However, delays caused by weather, unforeseen site conditions, or third-party suppliers are not the responsibility of the Company.
  • Any delay will be communicated promptly, and the timeline will be adjusted as necessary.
  1. Materials and Warranty
  • Materials will be provided as specified in the Agreement. Any requested changes to materials may result in additional costs.
  • The Company provides a 1 year warranty on labor and installation. Manufacturer warranties will apply to materials.
  1. Cancellation and Termination
  • The client may cancel the project by providing written notice. Cancellation fees may apply as outlined in the Agreement.
  • The Company reserves the right to terminate the Agreement for non-payment or breach of these Terms.
  1. Liability and Insurance
  • The Company carries liability insurance for work performed. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
  • The Company is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, structural issues, or unforeseeable circumstances.
  1. Dispute Resolution
  • Any disputes will first be addressed through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with Pennsylvania state laws.
  1. Governing Law
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  1. Entire Agreement
  • These Terms, along with the signed Agreement, represent the entire agreement between the client and the Company. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
